Investec takes an investment-by-objective approach, initially exploring the client’s investment parameters including acceptable level of risk, current and future return objectives, liquidity concerns, geographic preferences, diversification requirements and other property-specific considerations. This degree of consultation with the investor allows Investec to custom tailor a specific acquisition or development portfolio which will best serve the investor clients’ interests.

	Partnership accounts
These allow multiple investors to take limited partnership (LP) stakes in a partnership designed for a specific real estate asset class or for a niche in the market or a specific transaction. The LP route presents the investor the flexibility of asset and geographic diversification as well as risk reward diversification.

In both scenarios; Investec will select, analyze and negotiate investments and will represent clients in all facets of the acquisition, hold and exit processes.

Investec and its strategic partners also serve as asset managers overseeing the entire deal cycle including the ultimate sale of each investment to insure superior investment results.
